Programs

Fireside Book Club

The Fireside Book Club meets the 2nd Monday of every month, at 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:00 p.m. Discussion books cover a variety of genres, including nonfiction, historical, and popular fiction. You can find the current month’s read on our facebook page. Books are available at the front desk.

Drop-in Programming

We offer a variety of drop-in activities throughout the year, such as tracking our dinosaurs during Dinovember or lunch and a movie. Stop in to build on the Lego wall or color a picture for our bulletin board. Check out our facebook page for more details, or drop by to see what we have going on!

Preschool Story Time
Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.

This is a story time especially designed for preschoolers ages 3 and up. We share stories, songs, finger plays, and short videos. Sometimes we make or sample things.

Summer Reading Program

The program runs for 6 weeks every summer, during which participants will track their reading and earn rewards for completing their library bingo cards. This year’s theme is “A Universe of Stories.” Our Kick-Off Party will be held Friday, June 7th at the library from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition to earning chances for prizes, we will also be offering weekly programs throughout the summer for families. Every child who completes a blackout bingo card receives a ticket to a special event to wrap up our summer reading program! Watch our Facebook page for more details. This year we will also be offering reading bingo for teens and adults with chances to win prizes!
