Programs

Fireside Book Club

The Fireside Book Club meets the 2nd Monday of every month, at 1:00 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. Discussion books cover a variety of genres, including nonfiction, historical, and popular fiction. You can find the current month’s read on our facebook page. Books are available at the front desk.

Drop-in Programming

We offer a variety of drop-in activities throughout the year, such as tracking our dinosaurs during Dinovember or lunch and a movie. In September, look for our Pokemon scavenger hunt. In October, we’ll be viewing the Goosebumps movie. Check out our facebook page for more details, or drop by to see what we have going on!

Preschool Story Time
Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.

This is a story time especially designed for preschoolers ages 3 and up. We share stories, songs, finger plays, and short videos. Sometimes we make or sample things.

Summer Reading Program

The program runs for 6 weeks every summer, during which participants will track their reading and earn rewards for completing their weekly reading logs. We offer chances for prizes, as well as weekly programs for families. Every child who completes all 6 weeks of reading logs receives a ticket to a private pool party to wrap up our summer reading program! Watch our Facebook page in May for more details.

Mo March Madness

It’s March Madness, Mo Willems style! We will be running a bracket-style tournament to determine Sheboygan Falls’ favorite Mo Willem’s book. Weekly ballots will be available to print on our website or to pick up in the library. Voting will take place Monday through Saturday. After our final round, participants will have their names entered in a drawing for a copy of the winning title.
