Drop-in Programming – Available during open hours
We offer a variety of drop-in activities throughout the year, such as tracking our dinosaurs during Dinovember or Lunch & a Movie. Stop in to pick up a word find or coloring sheet. Check out our Facebook page for the latest, or drop by to see what we have going on!
Preschool Story Time – Starting up again this Fall
Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. in the garden at the library.
This is a story time especially designed for preschoolers ages 3 and up. We share stories, songs, finger plays, and short videos. Sometimes we make or sample things.
1,000 Books Before Kindergarten – Ongoing
The Sheboygan Falls Memorial Library has partnered with the Sheboygan Falls School District to offer our 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. When you sign up for the program, your child will receive a tote bag and free book!
Keep track of the books you read with our reading logs, coloring in one shape for each book read. If you read a book more than once, you may count it again. Completed reading logs can be turned in at the library front desk for rewards.
Upon completion of the program, your child’s picture will be featured in the Sheboygan Falls News and on our 1,000 Books Wall of Fame. Pick up your registration form and a free tote at our front desk during open hours!
Summer Reading Program – Ends July 30!
The program runs for 6 weeks every summer, during which participants will track their reading and earn rewards for completing challenges. This year’s theme is “Tails & Tales.” This year we are offering two options – a bingo sheet available at the library, or a virtual program through Beanstack. Sign up can be done at the library or online here.
This project was brought to you by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction and made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services grant LS-00-19-0050-19
